For access to the Checklist, which is the best, most secure and reliable way to store your data, WhenImGone.ca charges $18 CDN. This price includes storage of data and documents (such as a Will, Power of Attorney, and a short 2-minute video), along with the appointment of one Delegate of your choice. You can add to the Checklist or change what you have stored for 12 months from the date of first accessing the Checklist. During that 12-month period, you have unlimited opportunities to fill out the information you wish to have stored, or to make changes to this information, if and when necessary. The Checklist data will be stored until it has been accessed by the person you appoint as your Delegate, and either you or the Delegate confirms that they no longer want the data to be stored.
If the Delegate is terminated, and a new one is appointed after the first year, or a second delegate is appointed (at any time in the process), a $6 charge shall apply.
OPTION 1 : To be able to make changes to your stored information on the Checklist beyond the one-year period, WhenImGone.ca charges an optional $6 per year every year thereafter, until such subscription is cancelled. This option renews automatically. Since most people will want to make changes to their information as time goes on, we recommend choosing this option.
So, for example, if you decide not to opt for the $6 per year change extension, and after year 2 you decide to make changes to your information, access to make those changes will cost $12. The fees stop at year 3 ($18), and remain at the $18 level indefinitely.
If you choose not to renew, and wish to make a change after the one year Checklist storage time is up, an additional $18 will apply, and a new one year time period to change or add on to your Checklist data will commence.
OPTION 2 : WhenImGone.ca can regularly notify both the User and their Delegate(s), by email or text, every 6 months, that information is being stored on our site. The Delegate(s) is\are never able to change any of the information being stored by the User. This notification acts as a reminder for the User to update\complete their Checklist information, and for the Delegate in case it is necessary to access the site, that the information is being stored here.
The cost for this notification service is $6 per year for both the User and one delegate. Notifying every additional delegate is an additional $6 per year.
